Almaz Brothers Jewelers is a family owned couture jewelry business established in 1984. Brothers Ralph and Yury Almaz opened their jewelry store 30 years ago. They had come to New York a few years previously from Russia. There were jewelers in their family going back generations and their grandfather was one; they decided to continue the tradition. The brothers have clear cut roles. Ralph works on the shop floor where he deals with the customers and Yury focuses on customizing the jewelry in the back of the shop.
Almaz Brothers specializes in engagement rings and bridal jewelry like wedding bands. They have a reputation as creators of unique gold and platinum bridal jewelry. Ralph and Yury are known for their long-term dedication to craft and quality and their unique relationship with the customer. They design almost all of the rings they produce and they approach their art with seriousness.
Our showroom, located in Astoria at 35-13 30th Avenue, is fully stocked with professionally selected fine diamond jewelry, the leading makers of watches, diamond rings, engagement rings, diamond earrings, and other jewelry of handsome design. An extensive variety of gift items can all be found in our showroom as well. Our diamonds are GIA-certified, we can help you pick out the exact ring for your bride-to-be or help design the perfect one. We have a full service custom design, watch and jewelry repair shop on premise too! Ralph and Yury also offer custom designing and restyling of your old jewelry, we believe that jewelry should enhance a person’s personality and will custom design a piece to your desires.
